The 2025 eGaming Review Operator Awards took place on Wednesday 23rd March at The Artillery Garden at the HAC in London. A NetEnt slot called Spiñata Grande won the Game of the Year Award and several Playtech gambling portals also won awards. Gala Coral Interactive won the eGaming Review Operator of the Year award, Paddy Power won the Casino Operator of the Year award and LeoVegas won the Slots Operator of the Year award.

"To win the eGR Game of the Year award, voted for by operators, is fantastic reward for everyone involved in bringing Spiñata Grande to market. NetEnt always strives to design and build games that excite players and fulfil the requirements of our customers," said the Chief Product Officer of NetEnt, Simon Hammon.

Playtech's VP Product Strategy, Liron Snir, said "The eGR Operator Awards are a fantastic opportunity to reward excellence in our industry. The success of Gala Coral's omni-channel Connect initiative has become an industry benchmark enabling them to significantly grow their player base by providing a solution that allows players to seamlessly play any product, across any channel and on any device." These comments came from official NetEnt and Playtech press releases.

Also on this same day Microgaming launched a new mobile slot machine called Lucky Koi (5 reels and 25 paylines).

Speaking about the latest branded slot, Bullseye, the Microgaming Head of Casino Games, Mike Hebden, said, "This game revisits one of the most-loved television shows of the era. The online slot embraces all the show features that made the programme so popular, including the classic one-liners, prize board, and Bully's star prizes." He then went on to say, "Available to operators today, we expect the game to excite fans new and old, and with darts season on the horizon, it is the perfect time to unleash our Bullseye slot." These comments came directly from a recent Microgaming press release.
